What's up?! For those of you that don't know me, I'm Brennen (most people call me "Bern"), the newest member of Shift 5. I replaced John at lead guitarist this semester.
We're currently underway recording our second EP, which is untitled as of right now. A remixed version of "Once Upon a Time" and a finished "Standing" will be there from the last EP, in addition to our newer songs, including "Subpoena," "Dear Blacksburg," "Have You Ever," and "Run." We should be finishing it up in the next week or two, pending everybody's schedules.
Make sure you come out to see our shows soon, as we'll be passing out demos for you guys to enjoy! We'll also be playing some new songs that we have in the works, as well as an expanded selection of covers. You definitely want to be there.
Oh, and BTW - by "in the studio," I mean in Jenn's basement using my pimped out recording equipment. :)
