That was awesome, i definitely think we totally rocked out tonight, and did great. I am definitely feeling our togetherness improving a lot. We will always have some stuff to work on, but o man was that fun tonight. I've always wanted to play at Attitudes after going to soo many shows there. Tonight is something i'll remember for a long time. Thanks to Everyone who came out and listened, you rock. Techinical difficulties stink, but when you encounter one, the next time, you learn ways to try and prevent it. And if anyone didn't hear what happened to the singer for Sandbox Hero, you missed out on a good laugh. They still played a good show. Also, I was really impressed with greenlitemikey, they have a lot of talent. Hopefully we'll get to play another show before the year is out, if not, we've got a few practices to go, and quite possibly a demo cd.

Hey guys this is Karaffa here with an update.......... First off, I want to thank all the bands (We Are Childhood Equals, Sing, Sing, Prison, and Jet Noise) for playing last night. Everyone was awesome. Secondly, I want to thank Harper for putting on the show and also the people that came out to support the bands. It really means a lot to us when we see you guys out there.
Well as for the show itself, we all had a great time. No broken guitars or tuning mishaps of death usually helps out a lot and I got to break in my wireless system . I didn't even need any duct tape for this show! We played a new song for our intro (no mp3 yet.....sorry) and the whole show was just really fun. All of us are looking forward to playing at Attitudes this Wednesday, April 28th, with another lineup of great bands. Once again thanks to all that came out and we hope to see you guys on the front lines in the near future. Peace. (Jumps around the room with guitar.)

The Friday April 23rd show with Sing!Sing! Prison (Harrisonburg), We Are Childhood Equals (Richmond) and 2 other bands that will be Announced HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!!! It's going to be an early show, 5-9pm, and we will be opening it up with a 25-30min set.
As for the Greeks vs. Geeks Battle this is what we heard:
Hi Jason and Shift 5 Members, I appreciate your interest in the Greeks vs Geeks Battle of the band but we had many submissions and will be unable to offer a spot at the show. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, however we were still seeing how many non-greek bands we would end up taking this afternoon. Due to a smaller than expected greek response we needed to change our original plans a little. I was very impressed by your band's music, that you had played at Deets several times, and the professionalism of your recording. I will definitely keep Shift 5's info and contact you next time we are looking for bands for an event. If you are interested in coming to the event anyway it will be at Top of The Stairs, 217 West College Ave. Admission will be $5.00 at the door. There was a typo on a previous ad that was run in the CT so take note that the event is Wednesday, April 14 at 9:30 p.m. Once again, thank you and have a good rest of the semester. Molly Bernhart
